Eugene Roginsky is a children’s book author, screenwriter, licensed psychotherapist, wellness educator, and father based in the Chicago area. For more than 25 years, he has worked with individuals, couples, and families, helping people navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and better understand themselves and one another. He also provides educational programs for parents, students, schools, seniors, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
Eugene’s love of storytelling began in childhood, when his father—despite working long, exhausting days—made time each evening to create imaginative “five-minute tales.” Those stories transported Eugene to distant worlds and taught him that a single story can offer hope, inspire creativity, foster empathy, and bring people closer together. Years later, that belief became the foundation for Growing With Stories.
Through books such as Aria’s Song, Eva’s Memory Garden, and the Ira’s Adventures stories, Eugene creates imaginative worlds that encourage children to embrace their individuality, find courage, care for others, and believe in what may be possible. His mission is to create meaningful stories that nurture empathy, awareness, acceptance, and a strong sense of self in young readers.
